Who Will Lead Democrats?

Good questions. And one asked several times.

Joe Biden is a good place saver for the next generation of leaders. I support Joe’s willingness to serve and ability to labor hard and long for what the American people need and deserve. He is not remaking the nation. He is not stubbornly hanging on to old ideas. He is modern, listens to experts in emerging fields of study and science. He is adapting the nation to what it must do to survive another 100 years.

He supports attacking climate change challenges. He repels the evil of Putin. He aids Ukraine. He supports NATO and sharing power and responsibility with other nations. He realizes American power, dollar and influence is not the end-all and be-all of the world. We are one of many nations working together to ensure the human race can survive in a rapidly changing world.

Autocracy is not the answer. Dictatorships, too, are not the answer.

Standing still and paying the bills of poorer nations is not the answer. No. The answer is in true leadership and collaboration with others. They must buy into the problem and help find solutions. Sacrifices need to be shared if humanity is to advance to its next phase of development.

The greed for power and influence (and money) will not work for Russia and China. Only sharing knowledge, effort and wealth will keep the human race alive.

Yet, in our current political landscape, who is stepping forward to lead the charge? Who will capture our imagination and will to follow where no person has gone before? What personality is on the world’s stage right this minute who can do this work?

One wonders if Democrats are working hard enough to solve this question. This problem. For all of our sake. God knows republicans are on the other side of humanity’s future. We shudder at their prospects for leadership. Evidently only straights, men and non-scientists need apply for their leadership.

Oh, and you must be willing to make babies whether or not you can care for them.

Meanwhile, the planet and the human race await their fate.
